WHY DID I BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR?
In 2015 after multiple miscarriages, I was finally in the "safe zone" with my little girl. I told my job that I was pregnant, and was told I would have 2 days to give birth and then I would have to go back to work.
In that moment I felt trapped. I felt controlled. And I decided right then and there no one would have that much control over my life ever again. I immediately quit and after a tun of research, decided to become a virtual assistant.
Within 3 months my agency hit 6 figures, and 6 months later I opened my marketing agency. Now I spend my days overseeing both businesses, while hosting the virtual antics podcast where we inspire women entrepreneurs with business tips, high profile interviews, and so much more.
Life looks a lot different than it did when I started as a virtual assistant in 2015. I not only own a virtual assistant agency, but I own a marketing agency as well.
I spend my days creating processes, systems, and content that can help women like me. But that's what I absolutely loved to do as a Virtual Assistant, and now I'm creating for myself instead of my clients.
I also have an amazing team of employees that have helped me get to where I am today. If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be to surround yourself with people smarter than you in certain aspects of life. Every person I have hired, has been better at sales, graphic design, or project management than me. I have learned so much from my team, and hope they have learned just as much from me.
